The OB-80 series is a high-performance anti backfire safety device designed specifically for high-pressure, high flow industrial oxygen applications. Its design fully meets the stringent working conditions of 20 bar working pressure and 80 m ³/h nominal flow rate, providing the most cutting-edge and reliable active safety protection for oxygen cutting, welding, and large-scale industrial gas supply systems. This series of products can respond in milliseconds, physically cutting off the gas path at the moment of tempering, fundamentally preventing the flame from spreading to the upstream pressure regulating system and gas source, protecting the safety of life and property, and is the “safety guardian” of high-risk industrial oxygen applications.

Technical specifications:
Applicable gas: high-purity oxygen (O ₂)
Specially designed for strong oxidation of oxygen, the internal materials have undergone special treatment to ensure oil-free, grease free, and flame resistant properties.
Maximum working pressure: 20 bar (approximately 300 psi)
Satisfy the needs of the vast majority of high-pressure industrial oxygen systems, with high redundancy and safe and reliable design.
Rated flow rate: 80 m ³/h (under standard operating conditions)
High flow design, capable of supporting multiple workstations or large cutting equipment to operate simultaneously, with minimal system pressure drop.
Inlet connection: G3/8 “internal thread (ISO 228/1)
Standard metric pipe thread, with strong versatility, can be directly connected to the high-pressure outlet of mainstream industrial oxygen regulators.
Export connection: optional: 6mm or 8mm quick connector female head
Provide two common export specifications that can be directly connected to welding/cutting torch high-pressure hoses. Support quick plugging and easy on-site installation and equipment replacement.
Trigger temperature: approximately 100 ± 10 ° C
Accurate low-temperature thermal response point ensures early action before the flame reaches, with extremely sensitive response.
Valve body material: high-strength brass/stainless steel
The main body is made of impact resistant brass, and the key components are made of stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant, anti-oxidation, and has a long service life.
Working temperature: -20 ° C to+60 ° C
Adapt to a wide range of indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
Safety standards: comply with relevant international safety standards such as CE-PED, EN ISO 5175, etc
Product structure and working principle:
Core safety valve: Equipped with precision thermal sensing elements (usually alloy fuse plugs or thermal expansion valves). When abnormal high temperature or flame signals are detected, the component triggers mechanical action within milliseconds.
Instant shut-off mechanism: After triggering, the valve quickly and reliably closes completely, forming a physical barrier that completely prevents the airflow (including flames and high-temperature gases) from continuing to propagate upstream.
Unidirectional airflow design: Under normal operating conditions, it allows oxygen to flow smoothly downstream with minimal impact on system pressure and flow rate.
Durable casing: Made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and impact resistant metal materials such as brass or stainless steel, ensuring structural integrity in harsh environments and emergency situations.
Application:
Industrial gas cutting and gas welding equipment (CNC cutting machines, large welding torches).
High flow centralized oxygen supply system for steel mills, shipyards, and metal structure manufacturing workshops.
A work site that requires high-pressure oxygen for special welding or cutting.
As an additional safety protection device for high-risk oxygen stations and busbar outlets.
